{"id":10282,"date":"2026-06-08T12:08:55","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T10:08:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fsr-verkehr.de\/?p=10282"},"modified":"2026-06-15T13:56:12","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T11:56:12","slug":"lehrpreis-verkehrswissenschaften-ihr-koennt-gute-lehre-honorieren","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fsr-verkehr.de\/en\/lehrpreis-verkehrswissenschaften-ihr-koennt-gute-lehre-honorieren\/","title":{"rendered":"Teaching Prize 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Dear students,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the \u201cFriedrich List\u201d Faculty of Transportation Sciences and the FSR Verkehr are once again offering a teaching award to<strong> recognize particularly outstanding teaching.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two teaching awards will be presented each academic year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to a faculty member in undergraduate education<br>\u00a0<em> \u00a0 (undergraduate program in Transportation Engineering or Bachelor\u2019s in Transportation Economic)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to a faculty member in advanced-level teaching<br><em>\u00a0 \u00a0 (Advanced Studies in Transportation Engineering, Master\u2019s programs)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The award ceremony for the teaching awards, each worth \u20ac250, is expected to take place on Faculty Day in November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The selection process consists of two stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In the first step, you can <strong>nominate <\/strong>individuals and their courses\u2014which you attended last winter semester or are currently taking this summer semester &#8211; until <strong><u>July 3rd<\/u><\/strong>. From these nominations, we will then select the most frequently mentioned candidates and those with the most compelling justifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the second step, you may <strong>vote in a runoff election<\/strong> among these nominees until <strong><u>July 17th.<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the results of this runoff vote, we at the FSR Verkehr will create a ranking for the award by considering the ratio of course enrollment to nominations for the instructor, which we will submit to the Faculty Council for approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>++++<a href=\"tud.link\/4rtf6v\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> <strong>You can nominate your teacher here:&nbsp;tud.link\/4rtf6v<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;++++<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We look forward to a high response rate so that the Teaching Award carries significant weight and the results can help sustainably improve the quality of teaching at our faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may only complete this survey once.
