DVWG workshop, 12 Nov: “Climate-neutral transport sector: Can we still achieve the transport transition?”
In this workshop organised by the “German Transport Science Society” (DVWG), you, as transport experts, can discuss with Prof. Borken-Kleefeld how limited resources (time, money, staff) can be used as effectively as possible to move the transport transition forward. The focus will be on concrete, practical insights from research and practice. Breakout sessions with transport experts will look specifically at urban, long-distance and freight transport. Please note, that the event will be held in German.

Verkehrte Welt slide show on this year’s summer trip
Just how dodgy is the cross-border bus from Bulgaria to Greece? What do they tell you at the German embassy in Belgrade about the political situation in Serbia? And what does the Slovak counterpart of our railway operations lab in Žilina look like?
Verkehrte Welt wondered too – and set out to explore these and many other questions on this year’s summer trip. Lots of photos from the trip, and of course the answers, await you on the evening of 25 November 2026 in POT/13 (exact time to follow). Please note, that the event will be held in German (but a photo tells often more as any word).
