Meetings of the FSR
The meetings of the Fachschaftsrat Verkehrswissenschaften “Friedrich List” are scheduled every monday during the lecture period at 20:05 in the POT/13-room. At the meeting current developments at our faculty are discussed. Furthermore, news of the committees are spread, events are planed and different other topics debated.
The meetings are open to the public usually. Every interested guest may visit us and is warmly invited to attend the meetings.

Appointment of the Selection Committee for the D-Scholarship

Summer Party: The survey regarding availability for the summer party is now online. The summer party begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m., when cleanup begins.

Awareness: An Awareness Workshop is planned for Monday, June 15, before the FSR meeting
VeTa: Erfurt is hosting a “VeTa Light” from October 16–18 for networking—essentially just the networking portion of a VeTa. If interested, please contact Lennart.
ESE: Work is underway; the first results are expected in a month
Canoe Regatta: Public relations efforts have begun.

VerkehrteWelt: Registration for the summer trip has begun.
Part of the Stuttgart VeTa delegation will attend the summer festival.
Study Commission VIW: Many modules in the master’s programs have been changed; the changes will take effect from the coming winter semester. The new versions of the module descriptions and study plans will be published soon.
Student Council:
Re-election of the Public Relations Manager
There will be events during Pride Week again
The Student Council is getting a new website
A demonstration is planned in connection with the campus bus line and the budget cuts at DVB; more details to follow
Working Group Orientation Students 2026
The Orientation Year Meeting will take place on 02.07.; snacks worth up to €25 are to be purchased for this.

Paddleboat Regatta: Date is 18.07.; planning is largely complete

Report from Speakers and Finance
Finance:
At FSR events, it will hopefully be possible to pay by card using a SumUp in the future; however, the setup is proving difficult.
Speaker:
The selection committee for the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship will need to be filled in the coming weeks.
Other
The networking meeting of the FSRs is to take place soon, but scheduling is currently still proving difficult.
An internal faculty AI policy has been drafted, and students are still being sought to review it.
We are still looking for participants to help develop a strategy with the equal opportunity officers.
The new call for applications for the “Deutschlandstipendium” has begun.
Senate
Technical devices are now prohibited in the Commission for Responsibility in Science (KVW), and students are to be referred to only as senators.
Next year, university elections are also to be made available online. To this end, a delegation traveled to Kassel to review the source code of the election software.
Networking
The FSR-Transportation is organizing the next meeting in 2–3 weeks.
FA Summer Party
The funding request for the 2026 Summer Party, in collaboration with the FSR-Geo, is approved without objection.
FA Printer Supplies
New image drums are needed for the printer in the FSR office. The funding request is approved without objection.
FA Canoe Regatta 2026
The funding request for this year’s canoe regatta is approved without objection.
Departments
IT and Coffee
Another PC will be set up for the office
Cups and mugs should be washed as soon as possible, and the coffee grounds should be emptied daily

Newsletter
The department is open to suggestions for topics for the next newsletter
Work is still underway to resolve the technical issues with the distribution of the first newsletter

Since the preferred card reader was no longer available, the model without a receipt printer was ordered directly from Sumup
The student representatives met at the Rector’s Villa with vice-rectors, members of the Student Union (Stura), student senators, and TUD CCO Marion Schmidt to discuss developments regarding the Commission for Responsibility in Science (KVW).
Students from a Polish transport university would like to visit our faculty. A potential program will be discussed following the meeting.
The selection committee for the “Deutschlandstipendium” is seeking two students who do not wish to apply themselves. Registration for this will be available on OPAL.
An invitation was received for the Wiwi Championships on the weekend of Unitag (July 5–7): €150 for travel to and from the event as well as festival tickets.

Among others: The Stura’s Mobility Department is looking for new members, especially for the renegotiation of the Mobibike contract and more events and actions in transport politics.
FA Game Night
For the next game night on 03/06, there will be snacks again; a funding application (FA) of €15 was approved for this purpose.
FA SumUp
The FSR wants to offer card payments in the future, which requires a device. SumUp is the only provider eligible for us due to the terms and conditions of various companies. A funding application of €100 was approved for the purchase of a device with a receipt printer.
Departments
Penta Games on Tuesday with 20 (!) teams — POT 81 was well filled, a very lovely event all around; the professorship of Dr. Ulrich Maschek won
Material rental: a table of all items available for loan from the FSR is now on the website → feel free to reach out to us for borrowing!
Summer festival: budget distribution: FSR Geo currently has limited funds, so the split is now 60/40 instead of 50/50, to be settled via a cooperation agreement
Paddleboat regatta: there will be a paddleboat regatta again this year, a suitable date is currently being sought
Student marketing: on 06/06 it’s University Open Day, we need many motivated helpers
Merchandise: clothing has been ordered, including helper shirts
VeTa (Transport Student Council Conference): study accreditation reviews programmes in feasibility of study; new students are being sought to participate

Dean’s meeting: regarding the resolution on military research: currently there is no policy at our faculty on this matter; a discussion is expected at the next faculty council meeting
SIB found earmarked funds somewhere; the Jantebau building will be partially renovated using these funds
Tomorrow: meeting on security-relevant research with the Senate, Stura, and faculty representatives
According to Prof. Okhrin, the removal of compulsory modules or their reduction to online courses is being pursued.

Resolution of a position paper “Free Software instead of Microsoft Cloud”, more on this in the FSR meeting summary of 04/05 Discussion on the amendment of the contribution regulations with an increase in the student fee due to financial discrepancies with TU. More specifically, this concerns funds from the possible partial reclaim of the student fee for the €9 ticket (June to August 2022) that were not claimed by students. As the deadline for reclaiming expired on 01/01/26, this money should rightfully go to Stura, but the university has not transferred it so far, which is why the funds that were originally budgeted are not available.

Orientation students: Further development of the offering is an important goal for this year, as they are based at our Faculty of Transport; if you know of any offerings for orientation students, feel free to send them to us (at fsrverkehr@tu-dresden.de)
Collaboration with international students – a challenge in many FSRs; we as FSR Verkehr also want to improve this and are currently working on it primarily within the international affairs department

Presentation of the results from the meeting with Ms. Scope (Overall Coordinator for the Orientation Year), including current priorities and, if applicable, a presentation of a future plan for the orientation program
The handling of orientation students is to be better organised, with the main goal being better integration at events and at the ESE, as well as a separate meeting.

Neustrukturierung FSR-Laufwerk
Lionel: Das FSR-Laufwerk soll neue strukturiert werden. Dazu wurde ein neues Verzeichnis angelegt auf das nun migriert werden soll.
FA Kleidung
Leon: Zusätzlich zu den bestellten T-Shirts sollen 5 für Helfer bei Veranstaltungen angeschafft werden, die in einem Pfandsystem ausgegeben werden sollen.
Der Finanzantrag wird ohne Gegenrede angenommen
Evaluation Orientierungsjahr
Björn: Es wird nach Studierenden des Orientierungsjahrs gesucht, die Feedback geben möchten.
Patrick: Es gab Teilnehmer bei der ESE
Melvin: Orientierungstudies habe sich in der ESE nicht abgeholt gefühlt
Fabian Rudolf: Im November soll eine Ordnung für Orientierungsstudies beschossen werden.
Orientierungsstudies sind angehalten die ESE der Fakultät, die sie am meisten interessiert zu besuchen.

ESE: Lionel: Das Ressort hat die Arbeit heute mit einem ersten Treffen aufgenommen
Kleidung Leon: der Slogan auf der Rückseite der FSR-Kleidung soll geändert werden. Dazu wurde Vorschläge gesammelt. Es soll auch die Option geben kein Slogan zu drucken.
ÖA, Ferdinand: Es wurde ein neues FSR-Design vorgestellt und mit dem Infopost für TEC am 30.03. auf Instagram erstmals verwendet.
IT: Florian Boden: Es gibt neue Monitore
