Dear students,
the “Friedrich List” Faculty of Transportation Sciences and the FSR Verkehr are once again offering a teaching award to recognize particularly outstanding teaching.
Two teaching awards will be presented each academic year:
- to a faculty member in undergraduate education
(undergraduate program in Transportation Engineering or Bachelor’s in Transportation Economic) - to a faculty member in advanced-level teaching
(Advanced Studies in Transportation Engineering, Master’s programs)
The award ceremony for the teaching awards, each worth €250, is expected to take place on Faculty Day in November.
The selection process consists of two stages.
- In the first step, you can nominate individuals and their courses—which you attended last winter semester or are currently taking this summer semester – until July 3rd. From these nominations, we will then select the most frequently mentioned candidates and those with the most compelling justifications.
- In the second step, you may vote in a runoff election among these nominees until July 17th.
Based on the results of this runoff vote, we at the FSR Verkehr will create a ranking for the award by considering the ratio of course enrollment to nominations for the instructor, which we will submit to the Faculty Council for approval.
