Statement on the transfer of study regulations in traffic engineering

As many people are probably already aware, there are new study regulations for the diploma programme in traffic engineering. While students of the second semester already study in the new order and do not have to worry about anything, a transfer may make sense for students of the sixth and especially the fourth semester. The faculty has recently provided information about this on the following website:

While the new study regulations bring benefits for many students and the teaching offer has been improved through renewal and further development, some problems also arise, two of which are particularly relevant and serious for larger parts of the student body:

  • Problems with transfer due to late graded exams or/and assignments, which make transfer on 1 October or 1 April impossible.
  • Courses not offered in the old form for 4th semester students who do not want to transfer or for students of higher semesters who have to make up courses.

Because of these two problems, we have contacted the Dean and the Dean of Studies of Transport Engineering with a statement, which you can find linked below. In cooperation with all stakeholders, we are trying to ensure that as many students as possible do not suffer any disadvantages when transferring and will keep you updated here.
