We’re looking forward to seeing you!

24.10. bis 26.10.

Freshers’ Cabin Weekend

Have you just moved out of your parents’ home and started your studies? Are you here in Dresden specifically for your Master’s? Or are you spending an exchange semester at the Faculty of Transport Sciences “Friedrich List” and want to meet other students from the faculty?

Then save the weekend from October 24th to 26th! We, the student council, are taking you freshers to a self-catering cabin in Heeselicht (near Stolpen) for a fun and exciting weekend together.

We’ve planned workshops to share useful tips and tricks for starting your studies and student life in Dresden. Of course, there will also be plenty of time to get to know each other.

Experienced members of the student council will be there, ready to answer your questions from the first weeks and share their advice for your studies.

The participation fee includes two nights’ accommodation, food, snacks, and non-alcoholic drinks. You can bring your own bedding (sleeping bag) or rent it on-site for €5.

Travel to and from the cabin will be by public transport, so don’t forget your semester ticket.
Meeting point: Friday, October 24th at 5:45 PM at Dresden Central Station in the dome hall.
Return travel is planned so you arrive back in Dresden by 1:00 PM on Sunday.

You can register via OPAL — link to follow.
Further information will be sent by email to registered participants.
